Application for Sandwich Programm 2011 Vacational Programme is Out!!!

Candidates interested in the 2011 Sandwich programme application are hereby directed to the following advert guidelines below in order to apply.

H.    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

    A Five Long Vacation Programme
1.    i.    Candidates must have merit passes in at least two (2) subjects in Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), plus at least three O Level credit passes including English Language
OR
ii    Merit passes in diploma or relevant certificate of the University of Calabar or any other recognized institution of higher learning plus at least fice (5) credit passes in WASC/GCE, NECO, TCII including English Language in not more than two (2) sittings, pass in Mathematics/Arithmetic is compulsory for all applicants except in the case of applicants for B.Sc Edu Programmes.

A Six Long Vacation
2.    Candidates for the 6 long vacation programme must possess a minimum of five credit passes including English language and Mathematics though a pass in mathematics may be accepted for some courses such as Elementary Education, Geography, History, Physical  and Health Education, English, Religion Guidance and Counselling (G/C), Library Science, Special Education, Political Science and Social Studies.
3.    For matured people’s programme, Candidates must have worked for a minimum period of five (5) years (Post Qualification). This group of Candidates are to spend their first vocation on specially designed remedial courses. On successful completion of remedial courses, they proceed to join the 5 long vocation programme in their relevant fields of the sandwich programme.



PROCEDURE FOR THE 2011 ON-LINE SANDWICH APPLICATION

The following describes the steps for applying online in the CES sandwich programme of the University of Calabar;

STEP 1.
Candidates will proceed to any of the banks on the Etranzact Network and Request to pay for the UNICAL CES Programme Application Form via E-tranzact.
Candidates will be issued a printout/receipt after payment of Form Application fee of 4,000.00(Four thousand naira)only.
Alternatively, candidates can obtain scratch cards from selected banks listed below after payment of the Form Application fee of N4,000.00(Four thousand naira)only.

STEP 2
Candidates will proceed to a cyber café and logon to http://www.unicalonline.edu.ng. and select “CES 2011 Application Form Online”  from menu tab on the Home Page.
The next page will require the candidate to enter the form no. and  Receipt No. from the E-tranzact Printout or Scratch card Pin against the fields provided and click login.
To generate the Form No. for new applications, candidates are required to enter the Receipt  no. or Scratch Card Pin in the “Form No Generator tool” located on the logon Page.
Follow the on-screen instructions after gaining access to complete form.

Applicants can also purchase the application forms in the Sandwich Office through certified bank draft from any of the underlisted banks with the sum of four thousand (4,000) naira only addressed to CES UNICAL.
